Delivery Centre Tempelhof

Assessment for a central delivery and event centre in Hangar 1 of the listed Tempelhof airport.

A system of implanted gangways and satellite structures leads the visitor to the awaited new car. The exit with the new car leads through oversized gates of the hangar to the open runway.

The structural interventions in the existing monument are minimal. With simple means such as runway lighting, oversized mirror wall, etc. an experience space is created in an architectural monument.
